Walnut high chest of drawers, pine and tulip poplar secondary woods; two-part case, one-piece cornice with two over three drawers in top section, one over three drawers in base; shaped skirt, four cabriole legs with pad feet; brass escutcheons and pulls.

History of ownership in the Hildreth family of Bridgehampton, NY. According to tradition, a Bridgehampton craftsman made the high chest for Matthew Hildreth.
